:< I should have been born in 1890, not 1990. Way to go, fate, you were off by a hundred years.

Why 1890?

[Though at times I wish I had been born an ancient Egyptian...]

:< but I would have died happy, at least, surrounded by art and music and literature worth enjoying. The best books were written back then.

oh so was I :D definitely off by a hundred years.

There's only us, There's only this, Forget regret, Or life is yours to miss, No other road, No other way, No day but today.

XD I'm a freak for the 1800's- I think it was the best time period, um, period. The best music, the best writing, some of the best art (I'm not a huge fan of impressionist art), the best clothes...I long for the day that smoking from a pipe and carrying around a pocket watch didn't make you look like a pretentious ass.

I know, right? :< Or maybe I was born back then, and I'm on my second trip around or whatever...would certainly explain my affinity for all things 1800's, even my views on women.... *believes they should all be back in the kitchen, despite being a female*

:iconlunaxllama:
Oh yeah, I forgot about all of that stuff. D:
Whenever I think of the 1800's, I always think of the American 1800's. Ick. It bothers me. But living with all of the beautiful music and art would have been nice. :3
By the way, how did your first day go? 8D

:[ I hear you there, hun. Gawd, either the 1800s or Ancient Egypt would have been just peachy for me. <333 Except...that nasty civil war here in the USA, or as the southerners call it, The Northern Aggression War...Maybe in New Zealand, you would have had it great, but if I were still in MA it would kind of suck a little...

And not to sound like an asshole, but if I were to be reborn [and officially breaking the what'sit of time and space] I'd want to be reborn into either era into a rich family, to avoid the poverty and disease and whatnot...anything other than that would just suck.

[However, in both eras, women had nothing going for them. D:>]

If I were born in the 1800s, I would have had it pretty good, my family back then (on my fathers side, at least), were fucking rich 8D And British <3

>>; I never even thought about the American 1880s... XD I may be a Canadian, but my parents are British and Irish....

and NZ in the 1880s sucked, honestly.
