A bone chilling wind blew across the snow-frosted park, reminding the landscape that it was indeed a deep, Canadian winter. Two teenagers sat huddled together on an old, faded wooden park bench, hand in hand. A boy and a girl, obviously in love with one another, picturesque against the snowy background.
The boy was a vision of male perfection, tall with luxurious curly blond hair that stretched across his back like a fogs early morning fingers stretch across a field. The soft, heavy cloud of silver gold fluttered around his long, delicate face, shining in the late noon sun. His icy blue eyes gleamed in the soft light, as sharp as bitterly cold daggers. The soft cushions of skin under his painfully intense eyes were dyed a sickly grey by the endless nights in front of his computer, his only escape from the nightmare family he belonged to.
Soft white skin stretched across his high cheekbones, taunt and tight, scarred with tiny pinpricks, dubbed acne-the curse of adolescence.  A brief dusting across his strong chin and around his soft, plump, full lips were the only flaws on his face.
He turned to face his partner. Her face was buried against his chest, smothered by his thick, black winter jacket. Soft copper waves of hair cascaded down her back. He smiled at her closeness, his delicate lips contorting into the unfamiliar shape of a smile, the tiny anchors that seemed to weigh down the corners of his mouth cut free momentarily.
His eyes flickered with a happy glow, melting the freezing ice that seemed to hold him in its grasp. He always felt happy around her. She seemed to be the only things keeping him sane these days, with his family from hell and failing grades.
Shivering, he wrapt his heavily clad arms around the girl, pulling her closer to him. She turned her deep green eyes to his. He wasn’t smiling anymore.
“I love you…” He murmured, silently begging for the response he knew he’d evoke from her. She smiled blissfully and hugged him back.
“I love you too. Always, you know that.”
He nodded, reaffirmed and relaxed again. He knew that. It was hard to forget-she was the only one who did. Burying his face against his neck, he kissed her, his frozen nose-tip nuzzling against her warm flesh.
Just... for old time's sake. A happy memory- not the writing, nor the subject matter, but that I got the highest possible mark in school for this.

A little's been cropped from the end, but nothing important. XD;;; I wrote this when I was thirteen, so have mercy, and no crits please.
